Meet the Martyn Fiddler Aviation team at NBAA-BACE

Business aviation specialists, Adrian Jones (Tax), Angie Deady-Fiddler (Customs) and Mark Byrne (Corporate Services)  from Martyn Fiddler Aviation will be attending the 2022 NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), the world's largest business aviation event.

NBAA-BACE, which is also ranked as the third largest tradeshow in the United States, will be held 18-20 October in Orlando, Florida, proceeding the NBAA's Tax, Regulatory and Risk Management Conference on 16th and 17th.

Adrian Jones, a chartered Tax advisor and the only non-US member of the NBAA Tax committee will be taking up the 9:10-10am slot on 17th to deliver a European Union Customs and Tax Update. Speaking about the importance of the topic, Adrian said:

“Operating business aircraft in the European Union and the UK requires careful attention to importation, VAT and other customs issues. Working with your advisors well in advance of flights to Europe and the UK is critical to staying in compliance with these complex rules.”

Adrian will explain the different strategies for aircraft importation as well as managing VAT and other related customs issues, reviewing VAT implications for business aviation, and will explore the various recovery options, as well as providing an overview of Brexit and its market impacts.
