Meet the Martyn Fiddler Aviation team at NBAA-BACE
Business aviation specialists, Adrian Jones (Tax), Angie Deady-Fiddler (Customs) and Mark Byrne (Corporate Services) from Martyn Fiddler Aviation will be attending the 2022 NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), the world's largest business aviation event.
NBAA-BACE, which is also ranked as the third largest tradeshow in the United States, will be held 18-20 October in Orlando, Florida, proceeding the NBAA's Tax, Regulatory and Risk Management Conference on 16th and 17th.
Adrian Jones, a chartered Tax advisor and the only non-US member of the NBAA Tax committee will be taking up the 9:10-10am slot on 17th to deliver a European Union Customs and Tax Update. Speaking about the importance of the topic, Adrian said:
“Operating business aircraft in the European Union and the UK requires careful attention to importation, VAT and other customs issues. Working with your advisors well in advance of flights to Europe and the UK is critical to staying in compliance with these complex rules.”
Adrian will explain the different strategies for aircraft importation as well as managing VAT and other related customs issues, reviewing VAT implications for business aviation, and will explore the various recovery options, as well as providing an overview of Brexit and its market impacts.
Adrian (pictured below), who actively contributes to the work of the committee and provides a valuable perspective on EU Customs and VAT matters, commented:
“NBAA-BACE is the perfect venue for the Martyn Fiddler Aviation team to promote our brand and showcase our wide range of services to over 25,000 industry professionals from all over the world, all in one place at the same time. I feel honoured to be a member of the NBAA Tax Committee and I am looking forward to the conference, meeting colleagues and catching up with the latest US tax issues. It will also be great to have the Martyn Fiddler team alongside me at NBAA-BACE".
Angie Deady-Fiddler (pictured below) commented:
"We have been members of the NBAA since 1995 and this is one of my favourite conferences!
As the world's largest business aviation event, it is the perfect opportunity to make new contacts, build relationships and of course explore potential business transactions. We work with many US clients flying in the EU and UK and have lots of pre-existing contacts in the US; the show is always a great place to catch up with longstanding friends and clients.
Whether your main interest is structured solutions, import or export, or whether you are seeking tax, legal or customs advice, we have your complete fiscal solution at hand."
The team are preparing for a very busy three days at the show and are already scheduling meetings; if you would like to arrange to meet the team please email Adrian, Angie or Mark as soon as possible before their diaries fill up.
We really hope to see you there!
